Founded & Led by Charles Hutchins
SoCo Systems is led by Charles Hutchins, a 20+ year IT executive whose career spans director-level roles in state government, mission-critical data center operations, and regional IT leadership across multiple industries.
Charles currently serves as Director of Service Line Management for the State of Colorado's Office of Information Technology, where he oversees service strategy and governance for the state's enterprise IT portfolio. His prior roles include Data Center Manager at International Gaming Technology (IGT) supporting the Colorado Lottery's 24/7/365 operations, Director of IT for Pueblo City-County Library District, and IT Regional Manager for KBR overseeing networks across seven sites in Southern Iraq.
He holds an MBA in Technology Management, a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, and ITIL v4 Foundation certification. He brings deep experience in IT governance, network architecture, disaster recovery, audit and compliance (SOX, SSAE 18 SOC, MuSL), and the kind of operational discipline that only comes from running mission-critical systems where downtime isn't an option.
